Wildcat Weather Forecast

1/26/2023 610am  -- Almost 14" of new snow!  We received 3 feet of snow (that's right, 36") this week, more snow is expected today.   This is Wildcat Mountain and the skiing and riding is fantastic.  Today we start with 47 trails (97% of our terrain) and 4 lifts (The Wildcat Express summit quad, the Bobcat triple, the Snowcat triple and our world famous, world renowned Snowbelt).  Trail conditions will be groomed packed powder for your carving and cruising pleasure, soft bumps for working those legs and heavy powder in the woods for the soul.  Ski/Snowboard lessons and rentals are available.  Stay tuned here and WildcatMtnAlerts (@WildcatMtn) / Twitter  for updates.  Think Snow and we'll see you on the mountain!

Note:  Winch Cat Operations begin.  Use extreme caution and watch for Winch Cat signs and beacons.  Winching areas ARE CONSIDERED CLOSED.

(A winch cat is a grooming machine with a very long cable they attach to an anchor.  The cable is under tension and very hard to see in the snow.)  DO NOT ENTER WINCHING AREAS.

1.Uphill travel is permitted outside of operating hours.

2.We do not allow foot traffic during operating hours.  This includes hiking, snowshoeing, walking etc. up or down Wildcat while we are open.

3.Use the designated uphill/downhill route (Straycat, polecat, catnap, polecat),

4.Stay clear of our hard working teams.  The machines are big and they cant see you.

5.Respect the uphill/downhill policy so everyone can continue to enjoy the mountain.

6.Have fun and be safe.
