Wildcat Mountain has something that will appeal to all members of your family including:

  • If you like steeps, tree skiing and moguls, you'll get your heart pumping skiing various lift lines and tucking in to your favorite secret stash.

With all that is in store for your adventure on Wildcat's Legendary Ski & Snowboard terrain, safety is always our #1 concern for our guests and staff. Please read through the following policies for your safety.

Responsibility Code

NH law states that each participant in the sport of skiing and snowboarding "accepts as a matter of law, the dangers inherent in the sport, and to that extent may not maintain an action against the operator for any injuries which result from such inherent risks, dangers or hazards," et al. Please refer to NH Statutes Section 225-A:24.

Common sense, awareness, respect for others, respect for the natural environment, and respect for the ski area operation go a long way toward reducing your risk while out on the hill.

Please practice Your Responsibility Code, and promptly report any irresponsible behavior you see to Wildcat personnel.

1. Always stay in control. You must be able to stop or avoid people or objects.
2. People ahead or downhill of you have the right-of-way. You must avoid them.
3. Stop only where you are visible from above and do not restrict traffic.
4. Look uphill and avoid others before starting downhill or entering a trail.
5. You must prevent runaway equipment.
6. Read and obey all signs, warnings, and hazard markings.
7. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
8. You must know how and be able to load, ride and unload lifts safely. If you need assistance, ask the lift attendant.
9. Do not use lifts or terrain when impaired by alcohol or drugs.
10. If you are involved in a collision or incident, share your contact information with each other and a ski area employee.

Winter sports involve risk of serious injury or death. Your knowledge, decisions and actions contribute to your safety and that of others. If you need help understanding the Code, please ask any ski area employee.

Ski Boundary & Tree Skiing Policy

  • Trees and backcountry areas beyond Ski Area Boundary are not maintained or patrolled by Wildcat Mountain.
  • Trees may contain hazards that will not be marked.
  • Trees are recommended for EXPERTS ONLY.
  • When you pass beyond the Ski Area Boundary, you leave the area of Ski Patrol Services. You are responsible for your own actions, your own rescue and the cost of your rescue.

Uphill Ski Policy

Plase Note: Uphill Access will be closed on Monday, April 8th.

Uphill access is OPEN at Wildcat Mountain.

HOURS: 4:30pm - 8:00am (8:30am Midweek)

ROUTE: Polecat

Uphill access is allowed at Wildcat Mountain before and after operating hours. Uphill access is NOT permitted during operating hours this season. Our designated uphill and downhill route is Polecat. Note that mountain operations may be operatnig machinary and equipment at any time, so use extra caution and give them room.  We remind you to be courteous and respect these guidelines so we can all have fun together.

Drones
Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain Drone Use Policy

Drone Policy

Due to safety and privacy concerns, Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain prohibit the operation or use on or above Resort property of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public—including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping, as well as any drone use by media or journalists operating above or within the area boundaries. This prohibition extends to any devices launched or operated from Resort property, as well as any launched from private property outside of the Resort boundaries.

Any authorized operation of drones on or above Resort property will be governed by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, local law enforcement, and U.S. Forest Service rules, as well as those policies separately established by Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain, which may include certification, training, insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, and waivers or releases of liability. Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of your access privileges to the Resorts, or the revocation of your season pass, as well as confiscation of any prohibited equipment, and may subject violators to any liability for damages, including, but not limited to, damages for trespass, violations of privacy, and physical injuries to persons and/or property, as well as legal fees.
