Midday Update - 12pm: I definitely want to give our Mountain Ops a huge shout out! People all morning have been giving the groomers props and I checked out a couple of the snowmaking trails and the snow is feeling really nice. We're all in to bring you guys the best product we can and I think you're going to dig it this weekend.

They're calling for some natural snow to start falling around mid afternoon and into the evening. The forecast is for a few inches which would feel sweet mixed into the grooming!

Don't forget, tomorrow is Crazy Hat Day! Join us on The Lawn at 11am for judging. You could be walking home with some sweet prizes! Find out more details here.

Also, Middle Wildcat has been opened with snowmaking actively on it! It's skiing really well, go check it out!

Morning Update - 9am: After a little bit of a delay this morning, the lfits are now spinning! We thank you for your understanding.

Patrol has closed Middle Wildcat so the snowmakers can work on it safely. If you wish to get to Wild Kitten or Cheetah, take Middle Catapult then go through the tunnel and skate over.

Snowmaking is Back Online!

Yup, that's right! The sweet sounds of snowmaking can be heard all over the mountain this morning! Not only that, but it looks like we have some natural stuff coming in today as well!

There are 18 trails, 124 acres, and 8 miles of open terrain. Cat Track and Middle Wildcat will be open with snowmaking active on them. This adds some variation to a route commonly referred to as a "Bailey's Run." Start on Upper Polecat, then ski some man made pow on Cat Track and Middle Wildcat before running it out on Wild Kitten. Not only is it one of the longest routes on the mountain, you'll get some variation with the snowmaking! And of course, you can't forget that you'll be face to face with Mount Washington the entire time. Take a ride on any of our 4 lifts which are spinning from 8:30am until 4pm today.

Our Mountain Operations crew is going full bore right meow! Our snowmakers are pumping out the good stuff on Lynx Lair, Upper Lynx, Cat Track, and Middle Wildcat. They'll keep the guns going for as long as temperatures allow. Our groomers once again logged some overtime hours last night on 17 trails.

As far as Mother Nature goes, it looks like she's gotten the memo that it's still Winter up here. The forecast is calling for snow this afternoon and tonight with more coming in during the weekend. If you haven't done it already, remember that you can always save money by purchasing your tickets online!

I'll see you on the mountain!

-Nate
