OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

WORKING TOGETHER TO BE SAFE

*Updated policy in effect starting Sept. 7, 2021

Health and safety remain our top priority. Beginning Sept. 7, Vail Resorts is implementing an indoor face covering requirement for employees and guests at our resorts for our current operations, in line with a mandate from the U.S. Forest Service and consistent with many other hospitality, entertainment and retail businesses. At this time, face coverings are not required in outdoor settings.

We will continue to monitor public health guidance surrounding COVID-19 in determining necessary safety protocols for the 2021/22 ski and ride season.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

We ask that guests provide their own face coverings when possible. For those who do not have their own, disposable face coverings will be available as needed.
Currently there are no public health orders in place mandating physical distancing indoors or on lifts. We will continue to monitor those orders should changes be required by local public health.
Currently, we do not have a vaccine mandate for employees or guests at our U.S. resorts. We are strongly encouraging all of our teammates to get the vaccine by sharing information about the safety and efficacy of vaccines, and resources to connect them to providers.

At all of our resorts, employees are required to complete daily health screenings before coming on-site to work. All employees are also required to follow state and local guidelines in regards to COVID-19 safety and best practices, which can be found HERE.
