Wildcat Weather Forecast

Sunday January 11th  – 7 am
Good Morning Wildcat Community –
We received a bit of a mixed bag of precipitation overnight, but looks as though it mostly fell in the way of snow, picking up 2 inches, and its still going out there. We expect to see some lingering snow showers all day with the possibility of another half an inch to an inch of additional snowfall. Every little bit counts! Winds will be eerily & thankfully calm with temps sitting in the upper 20’s and low 30’s across the mountain elevations.
Our groomers were out in full force again last night working to rebuild the trails after Friday’s rain, and are hoping to have all of our previous trails back online for today, but keep tabs on the Lift & Trail Status page through the morning as our groomers report in and patrol assess terrain. We will be operating from 8:30am – 3:30pm with 4 lifts including the Wildcat Express, Bobcat, the Snowbelt, and fresh off its reopening Friday, the Snow Cat Lift!
With the reopening of Snowcat as well as dropping the ropes on Upper Polecat and Wild Kitten this week, all key beginner terrain is open, so there is no time like now to come out and enjoy this signature terrain and take a lesson for any ability with our Ski & Ride School. Advanced booking and walk-up lessons are available, as well as space in our Kitten Club play care room.
PLEASE NOTE - Cheetah trail will close today at noon for the remainder of the day for Wildcat Ski Team race training. Â
It was great to see so many of you enjoy the Snowcat lift yesterday and appreciate the great feedback and vibes out there. It's more clear than ever how important this lift is to our mountain, and personally enjoyed taking my family on it yesterday and watching my youngest have a blast on the trails. I want to express my continued appreciation for this community’s patience and support as we work tirelessly to deliver the best experience you deserve, as we know why so many call Wildcat their home. We do to!Â

Snow Surfaces Update
You may have noticed that Middle and Lower Lynx are all set up and ready to go, and we expect to fire that up as we see favorable temps returning Sunday night and into Monday morning. Our current overnight wind forecast may shift this start time into later tomorrow so we can maximize our snowmaking but stay tuned for updates.
We are going to give that trail a lot of attention to bulk it up for the remainder of the season, then we plan to move onto the Middle & Lower Catapult / Alley Cat / Black Cat pod of terrain next. Once that is complete, we plan to go back to key areas across the hill to build base depth to ensure we have a long season ahead of us no matter what mother nature throws at us. We are not slowing down!

Uphill Access – OPEN
We have officially opening our uphill access for the season on the designated route of Polecat Trail from 4:30pm – 8am. Please reference our Uphill Policy here for more information, and please keep in mind that uphill access is not allowed during operational hours.
