Parking at Wildcat

Wildcat offers free parking at the Main Base area as well as two overflow lots that provide easy access directly to the mountain.

Wildcat Parking Lot A at the Main Base Lodge
Our parking lot & base lodge is located just north of the Pinkham Notch Appalachian Mountain Club Visitor Center and just south of Great Glen Trails and the Mount Washington Auto Road. On busy days parking may be diverted to Lots B and C. Lots B and C provide direct access to the mountain. They do not have direct access to the Main Base Lodge. 

Wildcat Parking Lot B
Lot B is located on the right side of Lot A. Use the Main Base Lodge entrance. Proceed to the right and follow the access road down to Lot B. Lot B provides quick access to the Snowcat Triple, Snowbelt and the Learning Center. 

Wildcat Parking Lot C
Lot C is located .25 mile North of the Main Base Lodge and Lot A. Look for Wildcat Drive on your right. Follow the access road to the parking area. From Lot C you have easy access to the Tomcat Triple and Wildcat Express Quad.

Driving Directions to Wildcat

Wildcat Mountain is nestled in the White Mountain National Forest directly across from Mount Washington on Route 16, halfway between the towns of Jackson and Gorham.

Our parking lot & base lodge is located just north of the Pinkham Notch Appalachian Mountain Club Visitor Center and just south of Great Glen Trails and the Mount Washington Auto Road.

Take Route 1N to I-95N to Portsmouth, bearing left at Exit 4 to the White Mountains on Spaulding Turnpike which becomes Route 16N, take for 102 miles to Wildcat

Manchester, NH | 119 miles
Take I-93N to exit 23. Turn right onto Route 104 to Meredith. Turn left on Route 3 to Route 25. Turn right on to Route 25 to Ossipee, turning left on Route 16N to Wildcat

Portland, ME | 83 miles
Take Route 302W to Route 16N to Wildcat

From Vermont & points West
Take I-91 to Exit 18. Follow Route 12 to Route 302E to Route 16N to Wildcat

From Montreal QC, Canada | 210 miles (337 km)
Take A-10E to A-55S becoming I-91S to Exit 21, follow Route 2E to Route 16S to Wildcat
