Wildcat Mountain and the Tin Mountain Conservation Center are once again offering the “Wednesdays at Wildcat” summer naturalist program every Wednesday in July and August from 12 noon - 2pm
THIS WEEK'S PROGRAM TAKES ON AN ALPINE ADVENTURE
Tin Mountain takes us to the 4,062ft summit to experience our alpine environment and the geology of the surrounding Presidential Range.
Meet at Guest Services in the Wildcat Mountain base lodge around 11:45am. Groups will depart for the program destination at 12noon. If you are late feel free to meet up with the group at any time.
Reservations are not required, and programs are geared for all ages.
Picnic lunches are available for purchase.
Participation is free but please note that this Alpine Adventure portion involves a trip on the Wildcat Express scenic gondola to the summit which will require a lift ticket. Round-trip Wildcat Express scenic gondola tickets are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for children ages 6-12, $13.00 for seniors ages 65+, and ages 5 and under ride for free. A 17-18 winter season pass allows the passholder a free ride on the scenic gondola.
In case of inclement weather, the program may be held indoors using slide shows and interactive displays.
