Thankful for a New Season

What a wonderful holiday. It is my favorite. The origin of the holiday reflects the Pilgrims celebration of a successful harvest with their Native American friends. For me it is a time to celebrate with family and friends and reflect on our gratitude for all we have.
Part of the celebration should be taking time to enjoy outdoor activities and we have some great news. Our Wildcat staff has worked hard to provide you with a wonderful opportunity to get out and do some skiing and riding at Wildcat this holiday season. YES, we will be opening up TOP to BOTTOM Thanksgiving morning!! The summit quad will whisk you up to the top of Wildcat where you can cast a glance across the valley at the highest peak in the eastern US and give your thanks. Next, you can enjoy over 2000 vertical feet of pure excitement as you ski or ride towards the valley.
What a wonderful way to spend time with your family and friends. What a wonderful way to clear your head from the daily grind of your busy life. What a wonderful way to prepare or recover from a bountiful feast. Come out and join us, test your legs, and take in some of nature's splendor.   When you’re all done have a beer in the pub and give a nod to our staff and snowmakers. They’ve been working really hard prior to opening and will continue to do so all season long.  It’s what we love. The lift opens at 9 AM. The terrain is for intermediate and experts only. The possibilities are for endless fun.
Even the weather people are calling for more snow this weekend!  Winter is here.  We are thankful!
Let us count our blessings!
