Wildcat Express Scenic Gondola
Consistently ranked #1 Scenery in the East by SKI Magazine, Wildcat Mountain's 4,062-foot summit offers eye level views of Tuckerman Ravine, Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range. Ride aboard our four-person scenic gondola and explore our summit or have a picnic lunch. Lunch & Ride Packages are available for you to enjoy a unique picnic experience and lasting vacation memory.
For the adventuresome, soar ½-mile over tree tops, ski trails, and the Peabody River on our four-person ZipRider zip-line cable ride at speeds up to 45 miles per hour! Ticket sales begin at 9:30 a.m. and rides begin on a first come, first served basis at 10 a.m.
Alpine Disc Golf
Take a challenge on our 9-hole, lift-serviced Alpine Disc Golf Course. Each player will receive a 3-disc rental set (or bring your own) comprised of driver, mid-range and putter discs. We now carry Innova Disc Golf Discs in the W Sports Retail Shop. Come on in and browse our great selection. Once you're ready to play, you'll ride the Snowcat Triple up to a short walk to the beginning of the course. Each hole will have a white tee for advanced players and a red tee for beginners. You'll wind your way down the trails of Wildcat eventually ending up back at the base area. Warm up at the practice basket located near the base of the Snowcat Triple chair before you go off to explore and play at Wildcat.
Hike the Way of the Wildcat Trail
The Way of the Wildcat is a short, ½-mile loop at the base area of Wildcat and nearby forest. Follow the paw prints along the way to learn about the natural surroundings at information stations along the route. The walk usually takes about 30 minutes. If you’re looking for more adventure, continue another ½-mile to the Thompson Brook Waterfalls, a picturesque series of cascades not to be missed!
The Appalachian Trail
From Wildcat Mountain’s summit, walk along a section of this famous trail with family and friends! This 2,160-mile trail from Georgia to Maine traverses Wildcat Mountain along the Wildcat Ridge Trail. Participate in free outdoor tours, including our weekly Wednesdays at Wildcat Tin Mountain Outdoor Tours in July & August and monthly AMC Guided Summit Tour & Hike programs in July, August, September & October.
Fishing on Wildcat Pond
The Wildcat Pond, accessible from the base area just beyond the Wildcat Express chairlift, is stocked with trout early in the spring. Bring your own tackle; New Hampshire Fishing License is required.
Grab a bite from our delicious summer lunch menu and enjoy the mountain view from our deck! Picnic lunches made to order. Beer and wine also available. Open daily during regular hours of operation (grill items 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.).
Wildcat Retail Shop
Be sure to purchase a souvenir from your visit, the Wildcat Retail Shop features Wildcat logowear, postcards, posters, and more. Open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during regular hours of operation.
Please Note: Well-behaved pets on leash are welcome and allowed to ride the scenic gondola with owners at no cost.
