About Wildcat Mountain
Wildcat Mountain is a year-round destination, located in the Mt. Washington Valley in Northern New Hampshire's White Mountains Region. The surrounding North Conway Area was ranked by National Geographic as one of the "Top 25 Ski Towns in the World" in 2012. The views from the summit of Wildcat Mountain are simply breathtaking, with Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range directly across the way. The view and the landscape of Wildcat Mountain attracts summer and fall visitors to ride to our 4,062-foot summit on the Wildcat Express, which operates as a Scenic Gondola in the summer months, while converting to a high-speed quad chairlift in the winter months. Leisurely explore The Way of the Wildcat Trail at our base area, or, for thrill-seekers, absorb the scenery on our four-person ZipRider zip-line, which operates in the summer months.
In the winter, Wildcat Mountain has been ranked amongst the East’s top ten ski resorts for scenery, challenge and value by readers of SKI Magazine. Owned and operated by Peak Resorts, Wildcat and its nearby sister resort, Attitash Mountain Resort, located 20 minutes south of our mountain, offer interchangeable lift tickets and season passes, combining for 535 skiable acres.

May 06, 2013 - (Note...The press release below was originally released July 25, 2011 and the intent had been to remove the building during the spring of 2012. Because of weather/conditions that season, delays occurred and full removal was rescheduled for spring 2013) After considering all reasonable options, and working with U.S. Forest Service to understand codes and requirements to renovate the existing summit building that once served as the top-station for the original Wildcat Mountain gondola, Peak Resorts has determined that the capital expense is not feasible and instead budget the costs and expense to dismantle, remove, and restore a small, but noticeable, portion of the natural summit.
