Wildcat Trail 80th Anniversary Spring CelebrationApril 05, 2014
Join us this spring to commemorate the Wildcat Trail and it being the catalyst for the eventual development of Wildcat Mountain ski area.
Ticket Special: 2-day weekend lift ticket just $80! Valid for consecutive day use, April 5 & 6 only. Also valid for use at Attitash Mountain Resort.
Event: 1st Annual Cat Scratch Fever! Come shred in this inaugural spring mogul event taking place in The Chutes at the base of Wildcat Mountain. Come cheer on competitors and sway the judges scores from easy vantage points located at the Bobcat Base Lodge or from the decks of the Main Base Lodge. No matter where you are, a party atmosphere will surround you. This event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Registration: 8:00 -11:00 a.m. in the main base lodge next to guest service desk
- Entry Fee: $10 - Event open to all ages
- Event Location: The Chutes with start off of Alley Cat
- Event Start: 11 a.m.
- Awards: 3 p.m. wherever band is scheduled to play
Music: 2-5 p.m. The Ross Livermore Band will be playing the outdoor snow stage in the Wildcat base area weather/conditions permitting. If weather doesn't allow, we'll bring the band inside to the Wildcat Pub.
Food: Outdoor grills will be sizzling offering you fresh cooked burgers and other assorted grilled deliciousness available for purchase. (weather/conditions permitting)
Season Passholder Sunday Morning Meet & Greet: We invite all current Wildcat/Attitash season passholders to attend a meet & greet with Wildcat Senior Management in the Wildcat Pub from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. on Sunday Morning, April 6. There will be an opportunity for passholders to take part in an open question and answer period. Following the meet & greet, all Wildcat/Attitash season passholders can enjoy the Sunday Blues & Brunch and receive 50% off the Brunch Buffet price (regularly $14.95 per person).
Midweek Season Passholder Special: All current Wildcat/Attitash season passholders will be allowed to ski/ride this weekend, Saturday, April 5 & Sunday, April 6 at Wildcat (and Attitash too) to help us celebrate 80 years of the Wildcat Trail.
Daily summer operations at Wildcat will kick off on Saturday, June 14 and we'll run all the way through until Labor Day, Monday September 1. After that our fall operations will continue weekends only through Columbus Day weekend.
Every Wednesday in July and August, explore Wildcat Mountain with a Tin Mountain Conservation Center naturalist learning about the diverse ecology of Pinkham Notch in the White Mountain National Forest.
With the purchase of a scenic gondola ticket, join us on a free monthly tour at Wildcat this summer & fall. An Appalachian Mountain Club naturalist will lead an interactive and educational summit tour followed by a guided hike down.
The Wildman Biathlon is a three-part running, bike, uphill run event for teams and individuals. This event is organized by Tri-County Community Action Proram, Inc. and funds raised from this event benefit the Coos County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
Wildcat Mountain will once again host Attitash's Mountainside Music Series for the final Saturday in August. The Jonathan Sarty Band rocked out on the deck for aprés entertainment in April and will bring their awesome energy back in August from 2-5 p.m.
Daily summer operations conclude on September 1 with our fall operating schedule starting on September 6. We'll then run weekends only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until October 13 when we wrap up our summer operating schedule and look forward to our winter opening!
