Please join us on Friday, January 25th and Saturday, January 26th to recognize, honor, and celebrate 50 years since Wildcat begun to operate the original gondola and first such ski lift in the United States.

Take a look at these historical photos taken when the gondola was christened, Wildcat celebrated the first year or service, cell phones were not even a thought, an early snow sculpture and one carved in 2003 by local award-winning carvers. There will be lots of tributes to the past during Wildcat's two-day celebration of the last 50 years.

- Observing the original brochure and trail map price for “10 Rides Gondola or 20 Rides T-Bar”, Wildcat Mountain will set its price to be $9, the same price charged exactly 50 years ago when the gondola made its first run on January, 25th 1958.
- Reproduction original Wildcat brochure, trail map & vintage pin set free to the 1st 100 ticket purchasers (one per person)
- Planned Wildcat snow sculpture
- 2 p.m. - Historical slide show and video presentation followed by Wildcat celebration cake cutting
- 3 p.m. - Afternoon bonfire
- 3 - 5 p.m - .Après Miller High Life and Miller Lite promotion with DJ Brian Sparhawk including grand prize Miller Lite snowboard give-away

- Evening Event: $26.95 per person (Children 9 & under $16.95)
- 6:000 p.m - Dinner buffet
- Music to dine and dance to with the timely sounds of 14-piece swing band The Swingtones
- 7:30 p.m - Recognition ceremony to thank and honor invited guests
