2006 SKI CHALLENGE - 100K DAY
   
      The 3rd Annual Wildcat 100K Day Challenge held on Monday, March 6, 2006
raised over $17,750 for Make-A-Wish Foundation!
   
         
     

Thanks to all who participated and all who generously donated. Together these members of the 100K Club (pictured right) skied well over 2.5 million vertical feet on the Lynx Trail at Wildcat Mountain.

The top fundraisers for 2006 were Manfred Raschke of Newburyport, MA, raising $4,250; Ralph Livermore of Cambridge, MA, raising $3,110; tied for third were Patrick Ramsey of York, ME and RD Jenkinson of North Hampton, NH, both raising $1,369.50; and fourth Dan Levesque of Rochester, NH, who raised $815.


Wildcat Mountain's Events Manager Erik Spinney (left), who founded and organized The Wildcat 100K Day Challenge, congratulates Manfred Raschke who, for the second year in a row, topped the field in fundraising with $4,250 raised this year for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Raschke has participated in 100K Day since it's inception, and has now raised $6,350 for Make-a-Wish through his 100K skiing efforts.     Ralph Livermore, with his wife Judianne, skied 100,000 vertical together, and Ralph came in second
for the most money raised for Make-a-Wish Foundation at $3,110. He won a brand new snowboard
donated by Vitamin Water. Together the Livermores raised $3,360 for Make-a-Wish Foundation!

    Schuyler Kelley (#12), Ryan Kelly (#11) and Matthew Rutter (#20), ages 18 - 22 years old, made the trip from New Jersey
for the second year in a row to ski 100,000 vertical at the Cat. They raised over $1,000 among them!
